Luxi promotes tourism in Zhuzhou

A tourism promotion event of Luxi County was held in Zhuzhou City on July 30.

At the event, the unique tourism resources and cultural charm of Luxi were showcased through a series of exciting displays and interactions such as project promotion, scenic spot promotion, and intangible cultural heritage performances. The event aims to build a bridge for tourism cooperation between Luxi County and Zhuzhou City so as to achieve complementary advantages, information exchange, and resource sharing. Luxi strives to carry out deep cooperation with Zhuzhou in cultural tourism resource development, and marketing to jointly promote the prosperous development of the cultural tourism market.

Zhang Liuhai, deputy director of the Zhuzhou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, Film, Television and Sports, said that it’s now a golden period for the high-quality development of cultural and tourism industries in Luxi and Zhuzhou. The two places are making efforts to promote cultural and tourism exchanges and cooperation, strengthen brand promotion, innovate cultural and tourism products, and expand the tourism market. They will further amplify the advantages of both sides and work together for the prosperity of the cultural and tourism industries in both places. “We sincerely welcome friends from all walks of life to visit Luxi, experience its beautiful natural scenery and rich culture , and feel its charm and vitality,” said Xiong Yi, deputy county mayor of Luxi, who extended a warm invitation to the citizens of Zhuzhou.

In recent years, Luxi County has launched three boutique tour routes, namely, ten-mile painted wall water tour, Pushi Ancient Town exploration tour, and rural revitalization study tour, and created a number of scenic spots such as Binjiang Grassland, Natural Bathing Beach, and Yexun Luxi, to build a new development pattern of cultural and tourism industries.

During the event, a promotional video about Luxi’s culture and tourism presented the beautiful scenery, intangible cultural heritage, folk customs, and unique cuisine of Luxi. The intangible cultural heritage programs such as the song “Luxi Waiting for You” and the Chenhe high-pitched tune “Returning to the Kiln” brought an audio-visual feast to the presenting guests.

This event introduces Luxi’s unique charm to Zhuzhou people, and shows gratitude for Zhuzhou’s 30-year assistance to Luxi. Luxi County has launched 6 major preferential policies and tourism packages for 5 months to welcome more Zhuzhou people to visit Luxi and experience its charm.
